Veterinary Services

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of semi-annual preventative care examinations by a veterinarian.  Thorough veterinary physical exams and preventive care can help alleviate serious pet health problems. Remember early detection usually leads to a better prognosis and less expensive treatment.

Micro-chipping- for pets-We use the Home Again microchip. The micro-chip is inserted by injection. Owner information is recorded into a national database. You can manage your HomeAgain account by going to www.homeagain.com. Click on the Micro-chipping tab for more information.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Veterinary Services: We provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. These services include the following:

In-house labs for veterinary diagnostic testing: A pet owner may not notice the gradual onset of disease. Blood work is the best way to detect the early stages of diseases such as kidney, thyroid, and diabetes. Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

Veterinary Radiology Services: Our on-site, digital X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.

Veterinary Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.

Veterinary Ultrasound: We offer in-hospital ultrasounds and referrals to an internal medicine specialist.

Veterinary K-laser for pain management in our post-surgical, chronic inflammation, and chronic pain patients. The K-laser is drug free, surgical free, and pain free. The laser improves blood flow to an area thus promotes faster wound and incision site healing, reduces swelling, and improves range of motion.

Our veterinary surgical services include spays, neuters, and cat declaws, as well as other major surgeries.  All of our surgery patients have preoperative blood work to ensure they do not have underlying health issues that would put them at risk during surgery. Patient's blood pressure, EKG, oxygen level, carbon dioxide levels, body temperature, heart rate, and respiration rate are monitored by a technician during surgery. Post-surgical monitoring continues until your pet is fully recovered. We use pain management for all of our surgeries.

Veterinary Laser Surgery: The use of a laser during surgical procedures means less blood loss for your pet, less swelling at the incision site, and less post-operative pain for your pet. Also the laser allows for very precise removal of tissue.   Dr. Keadle has been doing laser surgery for 11 years.

Veterinary Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, digital dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.

Veterinary House Calls: We offer house calls for those pets and owners with special needs.

Veterinary Pharmacy: With our in-house pharmacy, we are able to meet the health care needs of your pet. For your heartworm and flea preventatives, just click on our pharmacy tab and fill out the form or call us.

Individualized flea control program: We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling for pets: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Behavioral Counseling for pets: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
