Reunions

We have had many successful reunions. We scan every stray that is brought to our clinic. If they have a microchip, we are able to find out the owner's name and reunite the pet with the owner.

Dr. Keadle 's neighbor is a hunting guide in Katy. One day he called to say a well-trained labrador jumped in his truck while he was parked out in a field on a hunting trip. He brought the dog home because he didn't know what else to do with it. He asked if Dr. Keadle would take a look at it to make sure it was ok. Well Dr. Keadle decided to take his microchip scanner with him. He hoped the owner had microchipped his dog. Yes! He had chipped the dog and the owner was successfully reunited with his dog. The man lived out in Katy and his dog was here in Copperfield. He thought his dog was lost in some field in Katy. He would probably never have gotten his dog back if it hadn't been for the microchip.

A young male boxer found his way to the Keadle house. He had a chip and we were able to reunite him with his owner who lives near the Galleria area. His dog had been missing for 2 months and he had given up hope of ever finding him. Please microchip your pet!
